Rules of use
This version is effective from 1. septembra 2026.
These rules are part of the terms and conditions and apply to everyone who uses DatingMia. They are written in plain language so that it is clear what happens and why.
Who may use the service
Only people aged 18 and over. Registration asks for a date of birth and anyone under eighteen cannot create an account. An account is personal — it must not be shared, sold or transferred to anyone else.
Content that does not belong here
You must not add a photo or a video to your profile that:
- shows nudity or sexual content,
- shows a person under 18 in an undressed or sexualised way,
- shows violence, blood, injuries or cruelty to animals,
- contains hateful or extremist symbols,
- has drugs or weapons as its main subject,
- is an advertisement, contains contact details, a price list of services or a link to another service,
- is not yours or infringes the rights of others.
DatingMia is not an adult service. Erotic hook-ups, offering sexual services for payment and arranging companionship are prohibited no matter how they are worded.
Behaviour that does not belong here
- harassment, threats, blackmail and intimidation,
- asking other users for money, gifts or payment details,
- impersonating another person and creating fake profiles,
- spreading other people’s photos or private messages,
- sending the same message in bulk, advertising and linking elsewhere,
- attempts to access someone else’s account or the systems of the service.
How we check content
Photos are assessed by an automatic check using artificial intelligence right after upload. An ordinary photo is published within a few seconds. If the check is unsure or cannot be carried out, the photo is not published and a person reviews it.
Video intros are always reviewed by a person, without exception. They are published only after approval.
An administrator has access to published content and may remove it at any time. If the automatic check does not publish your photo, you are told why and you have the right to ask for a review by a person — write to us at info@datingmia.com. This right is given to you by Article 22 of the GDPR and we take it seriously: a machine should not have the last word.
Reporting and blocking
Every profile and every conversation has a button for reporting and blocking. Blocking takes effect immediately — the conversation is closed and the other person disappears from your profiles. A report is confidential; the reported person never learns who filed it. Every report is reviewed by a person.
What happens if the rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we remove the content, limit the account temporarily or delete it. In cases of harassment, threats, blackmail, asking for money and content involving people under 18 we delete the account immediately and without compensation. Deleting an account for breaking the rules does not create a right to a refund of the subscription paid.
Where we suspect a criminal offence, we report the matter to law enforcement. The procedure for their requests is described on the page for law enforcement.
